Pattern Highlight: Aster
This was one of the first flowers I did a scientific drawing of. Tucked up in the North Cascades while on a backpacking trip for college, I found myself surrounded by these flowers and just wanted to explore them more. I would later learn that these were extremely widespread and they would become the back drop to so many adventures over the next decade of my life.
