Kim is the artist and visionary behind KT Mountain Studio and The MAPP Scarf. She proudly designs all products in rural Idaho, tucked up in the Rocky Mountains. Each scarf starts as an original piece of artwork, hand drawing each element before creating the patterns and scarf designs.

Did you know that Kim was a scientist before an artist? With both an undergraduate and graduate degree in Natural Science. Our vision and mission is deeply rooted in connecting people to place. Read more about her story, and the mission of the brand on the website.

The Mapp Scarf was the brain child of Kim (who's madden name is Mapp). From the artwork, design layout to integrating the topographic maps, Kim's hand and intentionality goes into each layout.

Here is the best part... each scarf is made to order and designed FOR YOU! This means you can either choose from one of my pre-made maps or work with me directly to create a map that is unique to you and your location. Custom maps require a one time $50 design fee but can be used for all future re-orders.

We have partnered with a Canada based company to print, cut and sew the scarfs. Here are a few quick facts (Read more on our website about the certifications and details).

At this time, orders must be prepaid via Credit Card or PayPal at online checkout. Currently I do not have net30 or other terms available, but I do use shop pay so you can set it up for payment installments.

All products are made to order and require a 3 week minimum turn around. Once an order is placed, it cannot be canceled or changed due to the custom nature of the product.

All KT Mountain Studio products must be sold in their original packaging. All items are ready to be displayed in a retail setting.
